Has anyone ever cross bread appleyards or have any? I'm curious on what they would look like. I know they are endangered and species preservation is a plus but this is just for my home and intentionally hatching as batch in the future. We have 3 drakes currently, 1 pekin and 2 either black swedish or cayuga/pekin and I'm going to be getting 4 females. 1 I am pretty certain is appleyard

So strangely enough I'm currently raising an unexpected bunch of Silver Appleyard x Pekin cross. My Silver Appleyard Hera mated with my male Pekin August who initially was born a female and laid eggs at one time. So far I 2/5 eggs have hatched and the two ducklings look like Silver Appleyard ducklings and similar to how their mother looked as a duckling. I'm also interested to see if they will exhibit more Pekin traits. One possibly has blue eyes like the father but they're still young.
