A few months ago I "lost" my Jumbo Pekin Drake. While searching for another I found a Silver Appleyard Drake and was dazzled by his plumage and style so I got him. I've only hatched from my Jumbos twice and had great results each time. I just put 8 crossed duck eggs in the bator as a test run. Dunno what I'll get, if nothin else a mixed dual purpose duck. Any thoughts???

I absolutly love my jumbo pekins. Their eggs so big and flavorful. I got them for meat and eggs but the eggs are so good i might just save them for the eggs. Got more in the bator, to increase my production. Im getting some silver appleyards from celticoaksfarm which will end up being my meat birds. Cant wait for the jumbo pekins to finish so I can get the SA and get them in the bator..
