I'm in Canada and the Silver Appleyard is a rare breed. I fell in love with them when I boarded a trio for a friend. Well I had to have my own so after to failed attempts at hatching purchased eggs. I went ahead and bought adults. Just brought them home this weekend past. They're in heavy molt, so a bit rough looking, but I still like them regardless. Drake Lighter Duck Darker Duck I also picked up this super cute flock of mini Appleyard look alikes. They look bang on like an incorrectly coloured Silver Appleyard duckling I am growing up (hatched out a very light mallard colour). The genetic background of these guys is unknown, but boy are they cute and small! Not as small as a call duck, but pretty small.
