Is anyone in the U.S. breeding or selling hatching eggs of Silver Barnevelders. I was checking out pictures of barnevelders on the Hendersons breed chart and ran across the most awesome barnies I have ever seen. They are dark birds with silver chevrons. I was very impressed with the type and flash of those birds. I know barnies are great birds and I am planning on a second breed.

I will be working on the color pattern in another breed next year (double laced silver). I dont think anyone is working on them in the US though. I had a hen the same color ages ago when I first started then saw another when I was judging a fair this fall and it confirmed my love for the color pattern. I am feeling scatter brained today but I'll try to remember to get back and post a suggestion on how to make silver barnvelders
