    A bit young yet to be sure, but it looks like a pullet for now.

    Looks just like my rooster did when he was that age. His head feathers are narrow, separated, looks like a Mohawk. Pullet heads have more rounded feathers and a puff ball rather than a Mohawk look.
    I think you have a cockerel in your hands.

    The laced varieties are different than the white crested varieties. My buff laced have crazy crests, where my white crested have a round poof.

    Ahhh that explains that then. Mine are a White crested black and white crested blue.
