A friend went to a chicken swap in Western Kentucky. I asked that she get me some Silver Lace Wyandotte's, if available. She came back with 2 hens and a roo, however they are smaller then the Wyandottes (I think). Is there another breed that looks like a Silver Lace Wyandotte, but smaller?

They appear full grown, but not sure of their age.

Seabright bantams look an awful lot like SLW's...

There are also bantam wyandottes, so there's always the possibility that that's what you have.

Sebrights shouldn't look an awful lot like Wyandottes, however hatcheries make such so.

It might be that you have better quality birds? Hatchery Wyandottes are tiny and skinny, good Wyandottes are VERY fluffy and large.

I would say Silver Laced Wyandottes! Are the hens laying yet? If not, they could still be growing, their combs and wattles seem small still. Maybe they are bantams, like Blue said... . Either way, they are BEAUTIFUL!!! [IMG]
