silver laced wyandotte cockerel

Hi from Anderson Creek North Carolina. Glad I found BYC!! Quick question. I bought a 1 day old cockerel silver laced wyandotte and several pullets. My delema is this......my cockerel turned out with a single comb. everything else says silver laced wyandotte. What should I do with him?

Some SLW will have a single comb. It's not uncommon. It's up to you what you want to do with him!

Unless you're planning on selling purebred hatching eggs it won't be a problem. If you are, then I would get another rooster.
