Silver Laced Wyandotte development question

This is a question for all of you who have raised SLWs. When do the hens develop those big gorgeous combs and wattles that I've seen in all the pictures of adult slw hens?

My 15-week SLW pullet's comb and wattles are starting to get very red. The comb is flat though (I think it's called a rose comb), probably won't ever get very big.
