Silver Laced Wyandottes

I picked up some SIlver Laced Wyandottes from Tractor supply and was thinking of crossing them with my barred rock rooster. Has anyone ever done that cross? I want to breed my own meat chickens to cut down on costs. I have hatched before and so I know what I'm doing.
What is everyone's experience in this breed?
