This is something I've scoured the internet for and not had much success sorting out. What causes the pattern on silver laced wyandotte roosters to look so different from silver laced polish rooster? Some of the big differences I notice are the wyandottes have black tails, whereas the polish tails are laced. I strongly prefer the pattern on polish roosters to the one on wyandottes. Just wish they didn't have all the extra trim! I supposed sebrights are also the same way. Does anybody have insights into this or links where I can read more about it?
