Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks are not only eye-catching but they are also gorgeously stunning. These are just a few of the words that come to mind when looking at a perfectly formed and feathered Silver Penciled Plymouth Rock. The roosters are so striking with their clean areas of black and white, while the hens display a crisp uniform, dark penciling all over. Their feathers are so soft, like silk. All Plymouth Rocks are attractive chickens, but we think the Silver Pencils are show stoppers.

In addition to being good-looking birds, our Silver Penciled Rocks are sweet, and are hard workers. The hens are good layers, producing an average of 200 cream-colored eggs per year. They are weighty, hardy, and tolerate the cold well.

While it is not hard to find Barred, Buff, or White Plymouth Rocks, the Silver Penciled variety is very rare and it can hard to come by good examples. We would love to tell you more about our Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks, or any of the other members of our flock! Get in touch and we’ll be happy to answer your questions.

We are CA NPIP certified and our stock is young, healthy and fertile. Our lines consist of.... Dick Hortsman, Padgett, and Adamson Acres.

I bought a dozen hatching eggs and had them shipped accross the country to Tennessee. They were packaged well and none of them were broken during shipping (and they included 2 extra - Thank You!) I hatched 7 chicks and they are spunky & adorable. I can not wait to see how they feather out!

Great looking Penciled Rocks. I'm way over in South Carolina and hope someone around here will have chicks such as these in the near future. Keep up the good work.

How much are they? Can you get male and female yet? How old are they? How much to ship?

They are $10 each. I can try to tell but no guarantee on my accuracy. They are hatching today and at end of week so it depends on when you want to ship. Normally the box is $15 and shipping is up to 47 based on your location.

At what point can you start to sex them. I am very interested in them but I need at least one male and three females. I live in Illinois. I am willing to wait for them.

Well to ship four chicks they would need a heat pack and I do not have any on hand. If you are willing to wait I should be able to sex them at two weeks old I am just not that great at it.

I am willing to wait on them until you are able to sex them. How many chicks can you fit in a box safely?
