Silver Spangled Hamburgs

Are these guys good quality birds? There are both 19 weeks old, and the hen just started laying.

I want to breed them for myself next spring because I love the breed. Please be honest.

I'll try and get some better pics later.

From what I can see they don't look bad but the way they are posed doesn't show their type at all.

Hey CBB , can't help you much. But Tony (you know the one i am talking about?) send him pics. and did you get your SSH eggs from him yet? he has very good quilty SSH. I like the golden spangled, and silver pincled hamburgs

They look a little "lean" which they should be of Hamburg stature LOL! Either it is the heat or molt.

I've got bantams and they don't look like that...and mine came from the stock of Jim LaGendre out in OR. Terrific guy!
