single bird?

    A friend wants to take one of our chickens. I don't mind giving one away, but I'm concerned that the bird would do poorly without company. Can chickens live happily without other chickens around? Not sure I've ever seen one on its own.

    DON'T do it!! Chickens are social animals and need at least one buddy!!!
