Single combs in silkies Need Advice? Thanks!

How hard would a single comb be to breed out? If a rooster has all good silkie traits but has a single comb how hard would it be to breed out if placed with hens from good backgrounds with correct combs. What is the % of chicks that would hatch single combed? Is it even worth it to work with a single combed rooster does it out weight the other desired traits?

If you are going to spend any money on birds, invest in a good cock. Think about it this way- in one or two generations far more of the offspring will have HIS blood than any one hen's blood. One cock covers several hens, makes sense to invest more in a good boy than a good female.
