I am currently incubating but I also want to let my hens hatch some as well. We have been geting up over the 100's for over a month now and my girls are laying (although not much) but they are not sitting.
We moved the pen last week so I gather the eggs that were in there. There were 11 eggs that had been laid over about 2 weeks and only two of them showed any sign of development. Out of the ten that I gathered for the incubator all 10 were fertilized but 4 quit on me. Hubby is saying that I just need to remove the eggs because they won't lay in this heat.
