Only feed chick feed. . . Otherwise they cant digest it in their crop well. Once theyre older you buy grit for them. Id purchase a chicken care book asap

The chick in the photo is sunning itself. All chickens lie in the sun like that sometimes. If you're just feeding peanuts, flies, and dog food, though, that's not a good diet for a growing chick and they are sure to have health issues.
