@pollitos2013 I am so sorry! :hugs What kind of predators are you having trouble with? I have used a great deal of free pallets. Free is nice.
:th and I totally cry for your pain :hit I am almost free of snow, and the swallows showed up today.

I was wondering! My guess was Canada so I wasn't too far off.

    Thank you.

The first predator attack was something that was not afraid of the barking dog and two kids playing on the grass. Just left feathers, no body. Then yesterday, a huge bald eagle swooped down right in front of me, the dog, and the six chickens I was supervising and picked up the biggest RIR we had and flew away. We are several miles away from a town and although we have neighbors on two sides, the east side of our 10 acres is a country road and an old cemetary, and the south side is 100 acres of woods and meadows, no buildings, no people. I have locked them in their new coop and frantically building a run. I have old cattle fencing, chicken wire and lots of old barn wood. I bought fence posts and netting for the top...:he
