Six out of Six? Could I be that lucky? Is my White Leghorn a Girl?

The other five I'm pretty sure are girls, but Foggy's comb is getting bigger and redder every day. Do you think she's a girl? (S)he's about 16-17 weeks old.

The tail looks like a hen to me. How do the legs compare with the others?

By 16 weeks I would think you would hear some crowing if she was a Roo. I think that she is pullet getting to lay early. [IMG]

Hmmmmmm, I'm not an expert by ANY means, but I think Foggy is a girl. Don't leghorns get large combs, and the boys get really big wattles? I don't think that tail is roostery.

Just don't smack me if Foggy starts to crow.

That's a pullet. Leghorns get huge floppy combs and that one's getting close to lay, IMO. I wish mine would sit on my lap like that!!

I've got 4 white leghorns which are 8 weeks old. 3 out of the 4 of mine (the roos [IMG] ) have combs and wattles MUCH larger than yours. I'd def say yours is a Girl. In fact, one of the 8 wk old roos is starting to crow.
