I have 7, 6 week old mutt chicks. 3 of them are kind of interesting. They all have a leghorn cross roo for a daddy. He isn't pure leghorn because he has a couple of black spots on him. I am pretty sure what the first one, but the other two are question marks
Chick number one is the one you notice right away. He (I think it is a he) has a Dominique or a Dom cross (I have 3 dom hens, 2 dom/buffs, and 1 dom/RIR) for a mom. He also has a rose comb.
The second chick is all white except for the tip of one feather. I'm not sure if he is a dom cross or not. I have some leghorn cross hens as well. I don't know what any of my leghorns are crossed with (except my leghorn/EE) hen.
The last chick is the most surprising. Two days ago I was looking at the chicks and noticed she (I think she is a little pullet) wasn't totally white. Upon closer inspection, I noticed she has some gold lacing on her feathers. Think she may have a leghorn cross mother.
