OK ,I have modern(long legs), cochin, and silkie hens, one of each. We found an egg this morning and was wondering which it could have been from. Just wondering about size comparison between them as this is our first small egg from these girls. Thanks for looking! Jennifer [IMG]

I think it was laid by the same hen that laid "Bubba E."

Thanks mylilchix for the photo of what it looks like in the frypan and carton!LOL This egg of ours is a different color than the ones laid by all of my other hens. But it looks to be the size of yours. Now I just need my guinea hen to start laying, and try to pick hers out from the rest! My daughter found it this morn. so she was super excited! [IMG]

Glad it helped!! The one we got was tiny, about the size of a malted milk egg at Easter. It had a yolk and a white though. It was alot whiter than our usual eggs. I don't have any white egg layer either. Enjoy your tiny egg!!
