size of legs - gender - what age?

    Yikes. This Welsummer chick is 13 days old. Her? legs are lots heftier than her broodmates (well, except for one of the Delawares). Someone tell me that it is too early for this to be an indicator that she is a roo. Please. Lisbeth, not Mikael.

    Yeah, I noticed that right away [​IMG] She is bigger than the other chicks (except for the Delawares) too, but the breed is a bit larger, so who knows. I just have to wait and see.
