We have Isa Browns. We have been blessed with a double yolker. [IMG] I never had one till one of our hens laid one. And she keeps laying them everyday. Dad and I usually haggle over the double yolkers [IMG] Ours stared laying the 10th of June. The yolks seem small. Are they smaller with Isa browns?? [IMG] I love the sunrise orange yolk color.

Double yolkers are not unusual on young hens. Once they get a little older, their systems get into a normal cycle and you'll get normal single yolkers.

[IMG] I hope that would stay double yolked. Oh well. I never ever had a double yolk to eat till or Isa Browns came along.

Will the yolks stay small or get bigger? I am afriad if they brood. What in the world will they be like? A mean Isa Brown?
