I think I’ve ended up with a sizzle hen with a double dose of the frizzle gene. I purchased her as a young hen and she looked fine, but now she looks like she’s going through a molt and has a lot of bare skin. I got the sense her breeder was careful to avoid double dosing, but seeing naked spots on her head has me worried. You probably want pictures, but I will have to get some later. I’m maybe being premature, but I’m looking for advice on giving her the best care to protect her.
