Hello All!
I have done a lot of searching and keep seeing a recurring bit of information.

I have a white silkie rooster, and a mixed variety of LF hens. I have seen that apparently, crossing a silkie roo, will create chicks able to be sexed at birth by skin color, with the females having black skin like a silkie, and the males having white skin like the LF. Well I had a broody hatch a clutch of 6 yesterday, 2 light colored/red chicks with white legs and skin, 2 black chicks with black skin, 1 black and gold chick with black skin, and 1 yellow chick, who is the mystery to me. This chick is yellow feathered, with 2 thin black lines down her back, black skin, but her legs arent black, her legs are very very pale grey. anyone who has worked with these crosses have an idea?
