I recently got this rooster off of someone, he is a booted bantam, and he is 4 years old. The hens constantly picked his feathers off of his neck, and it looks like their may be some infection under the skin. What can I do to treat this?

ALSO, I am taking name suggestions!

That...doesn't look like it feels good. I'm not sure if it is infected or not but it does not look normal. Isolating him from the hens is a must. He also looks sunburnt. Keep him alone in a covered area for a while. Besides not having feathers on his neck he looks very handsome. As for his name... What about: speckles, freckles, popcorn, fireworks, brownie, chip, chocolate chip, drumstick, or cracker?

I know, he was picked on by the other owners hens. He is isolated, and I was concerned and didnt know how to treat. I love cracker!
