Skinny hen, Not gaining weight, Any suggestions

    Ive dewormed, checked for lice or other critters, increased protein intake, She eats and acts normal but has dropped significantly in weight, Please any ideas out there?? Thank you

    Do you give them treats? Brown rice, corn, apples, bananas, non-salted nuts, left over bread. I give mine scratch everyday in addition to layer crumble. Do they free range at all?

    Yeah, I bet she still has worms. I think Dawg53 recommends valbazen as a broad spectrum wormer. If you look up his posts, he is extremely knowledgeable about worms.

    Ck-newbe, yup they get leftovers in the morn. Along with the layer crumble and then free range all day

    Checked out the Valbazen de wormer, sounds like exactly what I need. Gonna buy it and keep yall posted on the results. [​IMG]
