Skunk bite on wing...

A skunk was trying to eat my little 13 week old silkie....
I ran out just in time to scare of that nasty stinky brat. Well, the silkie wing doesnt look so good. It's skin/muscle is about 3x the size it should be... and its turning green. WHAT do I do???? I called my mom who is a vet, I asked if i should amputate it... she said no.


ANYONE have any ideas? Should I inject penicillian into that infected portion?

The silkie is still eating and drinking and running around the yard...

Chickens bruises are green.

If there is an open wound, treat it like you would any open wounds. Clean it well, triple antibiotic oint, cover. She should do fine.
