We have two new chick's we brought home yesterday, stikk young unsure of exact age. They did not have a heat lamp where we got them from and one of the girls was acting sleepy, breathing heavy, and in general acting lethargic last night. We contributed it to not being used to the lamp. Then this morning after spending so time without the lamp she is practically falling asleep standing up, falling over, and she will spread out one leg and a wing to the side and plop down on her side and lay. Intermittently she is panting some but not steadily. This is not my first round with babies but this is the first time I'm witnessing behavior like this, and I admit I can become a little overly worried when it comes to my girls they are a big part of my world, so any advice or insight into this matter would be greatly appreciated.
