slipped tendo

Anyone else have a chick with a slipped tendon?
One of ours had this issue I gently stretched the leg over 24 hrs and popped it back on. She put 50 % weight on it the 1st day and now at day 3 seems fine. Wondering when I can reintro her to the flock?

I'd give it at least a week or two to MAKE SURE she's not going to slip again.

Great job getting it to pop back into place. I'd rather err on the side of caution than stress her out and cause her to be injured again.

If she seems agitated from being alone, you can put a mirror in with her or put her cage where the rest of the chicks are.

Vitamin B12 and E in the water can help with leg strength issues.

I hope she makes a full recovery!
