First time with this breed. Both chicks are healthy. The one with the more silver in it’s face is feathering very slowly. Other SLW is feathering ‘normally’. Bought them 1 week ago at 1 week old. Is this sex related or just a slow grower?

When I bought them.

Now.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I think Wyandottes take a long time for the full coloration to come in. As long as the chick otherwise looks healthy, I would just keep an eye on her...

Thanks. I mean though that one is growing more feathers than the other. I’m not sure if it’s sex related?

I thought I’d update this incase anyone finds it! The slow feathering Wyandotte is a cockerel. The normal feathering one is a pullet. I’ve since learned that some lines do carry this fast and slow feathering and in these lines it is sex related.
