Slow to grow

My blue cochin is slow growing. She seems very happy just very small. Anyone seen this before

Cochins are a breed that often lags behind. It's normal. Just make sure she is eating, drinking and acting like the others.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. The other members might be right about her being a bantam Cochin. Even if she is a standard Cochin, like all of the really heavy breeds (Jersey Giants, Brahmas as well), they are slow to mature. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. I did talk to the farm where i got her.....and she is a BANTAM
I am kinda new to this ..it's my second year of being a " Chicken Mama"
and i am loving every minute of it!

Lol...I remember my first Bantam. Bought 4 chicks all the same size. A week later one "just isn't growing right"...
