SLW and Black Australorp

So two of these were sold to me as SLW and one is an australorp. The SLW don't look all that similar. Can you tell me what you think?

I know which one the Australorp is, but I am curious if both of the SLW are actually both SLW.

The reason I am curious is because the SLW toward the front has a stripe down it's back and the one toward the back does not. It's also much darker black.

Yep, they look like SLWs to me. Those cute little masks on their faces give them away. I've never had silver laced but I've had blue laced red and if it makes you feel any better, some of them had chipmunk stripes down their backs and some did not. Most chicks don't look the same, even if they're the same breed. Another example, I had two white Leghorns. As babies one was white and the other was a creamy yellow. By the time they were ready to lay eggs, I couldn't tell them apart (so we named them both Cotton). Enjoy your chicks
