Slw comb

Hey all,
I have an slw cockerel that has several black dots on his comb. It sorta looks like frostbite, but it is JUNE!!!!!! His behavior is very rooish and normal. He has clear eyes, good feathering, no nasal blockages etc etc! Are the dots where mites got him??? I have not yet cleaned the coop sice late febuary. What can I do????

The dots are small, but otherwise dont affect him. What is fowl pox???? He came from mcmurray hatchery, vaccinated against cocci and mareks.
