We've got a silver laced wyandotte roo we need to get rid of.
He's about 18 weeks old and has started to crow CONSTANTLY!
Unfortunately we can't have roosters due to code and zoning and we're afraid someone will soon be complaining and we will not only have to get rid of him but some of our hens as well (we're only supposed to have 2 but we have 6) should the "chicken cops" show up.
It's a bit early to eat him and I'm not sure I could do the deed anyway but I have no problem if someone wants him for that purpose.
He free ranges in our yard for a couple hours each day but most of his diet is regular starter/grower feed.
He's the least friendly of our flock so he wouldn't make a good pet but he seems to protect the girls quite well.
