I'm new to chickens and would like to get a chicken I saw at a fair once, but I don't know what type it was. It was small and black with white spots. Does anyone have suggestions as to what it might have been?

Do a search on Silver Spangled Hamburgs or Silver Sebright. Oops, sorry they're white with black spots. Try mottled chickens.

Dinos, those barred rocks aren't "small" birds. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

It might be an Ancona. Here's a photo of my Ancona, Oreo. Oreo laid her first egg today!

It could have been a silver laced wyandotte!
