    I'm looking for breed recommendations:
I need the smallest chicken breed possible, roughly pigeon sized that are also person and friendly. Suggestions from those with experience with recommended breeds would be much appreciated.

  2. I have found that if handled young Dutch and OEG bantams can be very friendly.

Bantams or Silkies. Silkies are really sweet.

[IMG] & [IMG] from Alabama. Glad you joined us. Seramas are the smallest breed, & the one I have is a very friendly girl & is probably smaller than some pigeons. But Silkies are an even better choice for friendly breeds There are just so many different wonderful breeds of bantams [IMG]
