I've been noticing recently a small brown speck (like a grain of sand) on alot of my egg yolks. What is that? Sometimes its a bit bigger....I pick up eggs daily. I've occasionally seen a blood spot but this isn't red like that and it is about the size of a piece of sand. Does anyone esle see anything like this.....I'm freezing some of my eggs right now and i'll post a picture when I get another one.

I have a GC Maran that has a meat spot in every egg.... and I've yet to see any of her eggs hatch.

Oh no, that doesn't sound good! There were at 8 eggs that had them in the last batch....sometimes it's not on the yolk, it comes off and is in the white. I only had one in the 10 I just opened, here's a pic.
