Was told to repost here..
I have a chick that is approximately 6wks old, but has stayed about half the size of her brood mates. I initially thought she was an Ancona, but her feathering is odd. She looks like a little poof.
Any ideas if this could be a result of a deficiency or illness? I am growing concerned by her small size.
To be transparent, she did have a minor leg injury (think it was a sprain) at about 3wks. No external indication of injury or swelling, but she favored one leg for about a week.
Any ideas?
