Hey, I've had a Wellsummer chick hatch, smallest of the hatch, with a small umbilical hernia so devided the brooder up so she's with one later hatched little copper black and not pecked by the other big chicks. She seems to not only be smaller but also have really short down... Like really short. Was considering washing her off carefully with warm water and seeing if this helps her fluff up, but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. She's lively and standing, just small and seems to have a buzz cut compared to all the others. Thanks, hope you're all well! X
