Post your small coops! Also please put how many chickens are in the coop! Thanks
Hi! Here is a small coop we designed and my husband built for our bantams. Technically, it was supposed to be a moveable tractor but it's double-walled and fully insulated so it's really heavy to move lol.
The coop footprint is 6' x 4' and the house part is 4' x 4'. It has a sliding vent for adjustable ventilation and an adjustable pop open window in the door. It also has the exterior nest box with 2 small boxes inside. We have 5 bantam Cochins that call it home!
We built another version of this coop with a slant roof and 4' x 8' footprint too
Nice! Best wishes for you and your flock!
Thanks so much!
Hopefully some others will post their coops too!
I made mine from all recycled materials. Scrap pieces of wire, a cooler, a window on either side, and a divider in the middle for the duckwing bantams there are three chickens in this one.
My other one was also made completely from recycled materials...
there are three in this one as well. Even my waterers are recycled power aid bottles
Thank you, thank you. Lol
