Small dog with Big Roosters...

I have two, 21 week old Buff Roosters that go after my dog. They are about the size, or even bigger, then my little toy poodle dog, Pepper. Before, when they were smaller then him, they didn't try to hurt Pepper at all. Now, my dog is scared to go in the backyard because of the roosters. They don't have spurs yet, but they are getting bumps. I want to resolve this issue before they get their spurs. Is there anything I can do? I really don't want to get rid of them...

Take something out with you to defend your dog from them and chase them off. Otherwise keep them penned for your dogs safety. You may have to choose one over the other, as far as happiness, the chickens or the dog.

Be careful those confident young roosters don't come after you too, or any kids if you have some. My roosters run from all my dogs, even the little one.
