Hi All, I have 2 chickens that are 5 mo. old - one or both (can't tell) just started laying eggs. The eggs are very small - only about 2" long. My other 2 chickens (that are older) are laying normal to jumbo size eggs. Is there a reason why the eggs are so small or is it because they/she just started laying and they will get bigger in time?

Thank you!!

Pullets eggs are small when they first start laying. So, give them some time, They'll get bigger.

Oh Thank you! Wasn't sure if they needed a little "extra" something to eat in order to beef up the eggs size.
