Small hen bullies big rooster, normal?

My rooster is a year old. He acts like an adult, hes a gentleman. But one of my hens, shes a buff polish, she always jumps at him and chases him. Is it normal? She only does it to my one rooster. But she doesnt bother the other two. Is it because hes young? Or is she just super bossy.

I think that your hen might think she owns the place and because he is young she probably just likes bullying him and bossing him around. I’ve seen this happen with my ducks and hens they can be very sassy

Ok, thankyou! I wasnt worried, cause shes small, i never thought shed hurt him. Thats funny! Shes kinda the boss hen also, so i am not surprised

Size is not necessarily indicative of the pecking order.
If he's younger than her, it's totally normal for her to give him a hard time, at least initially.

That little lady may get a dose of Karma yet..... She may not want to try and bully a hormonal rooster bigger than she is.... I'm surprise that he doesn't have enough hormones to put her on the ground now.
