small homemade feederers and waterers?

I am getting chicks soon, and i was curious if you guys have and ideas for homemade feederers and waterers for like 3 chicks?

Free bakery buckets use a hole saw make sure you get the lid and get nipple waters another free bucket and you have a waterer... I use PVC pipe but you can just get 2 or 3 nipples and put then in the bottom and hang it up also people use the 2 liter soda bottles...I like the buckets

I make small wooden feeders. I'll try to get some pics and post them.

Back view, the back board sets at an angle and goes all the way to the bottom.

Front view, Front board set at an angle and you leave about 3/4's of an inch between the front board and the bottom for the feed to come under it. I usually leave about 2 inches between the front board and the back board. There is a small strip that goes along the front to keep the feed in.

The top is just a board with 2 strips nailed to the sides of it so they overlap the feeder to hold it on. the top is stood up beside the feeder in this pic
