I am looking for a small egg incubator with a self turner for my daughter's Catholic school. The development of the eggs would be a wonderful science project and we can handle the chickens after they are born. Since it is for a small catholic school, we are looking for as inexpensive as possible. Any help would be great! Contact me with any questions! Tori

Tori, call your county extension office and chat with them. They might be able to help you. If someone in the county does chickens in 4-H, they should know. You can find your county office here.

Find your New York state thread in the ”Where and I? Where are you!” section of this forum and post in there. You might find someone local that can help.

Either of these gives you a chance of the use of a free incubator, maybe some interesting hatching eggs, possibly some expert advice, and maybe the extension agent can come up with a planned curriculum for teaching about the eggs. Or they may be a total bust.

    Good luck!
