Is there any where I can order about 10 or so of them? The places I have found so far have min orders of 15 or 30. We are thinking of getting some to reduce our tick population and keep away the hawks and other nasties.

Maybe you can find someone local. Sometimes at local feed store they will have signs of people trying to sell, sometime even give away or try local auction. We have some hopefully hatching soon. If you lived closer...

Should also mention that guineas don't really keep hawks away.

Quote:If you order 15 it is likely that you will grow out about 10. They are wiley little buggers and have a tendency to escape and find a way to just get themselves in trouble. I lose a lot more guinea than I do chickens that is for sure. You will not have any trouble selling partially grown out ones, at least not in this part of the county.

What strange creatures they are. Mine are refusing to lay althought they are old enough just to annoy me.
