I'm not dressed like I live in a trash can.

I am wearing a nice tank top. My hair is brushed, I am clean, and I'm wearing earrings. Granted, I am wearing 3 different earrings and a paper clip. I also have hot pink vet wrap on my legs up to my knees. And I'm wearing crocs.
My chickens aren't laying on the floor anymore!
The broody finally realized that in order to hatch eggs, you must sit on them and not eat them!
The plants are watered!
The goats haven't got out or destroyed anything recently!

I planted 4 of the 10 tomato plants today.
My chickens, kids, and husband are fed and watered. Yes, in that order.

My grades are in, my tomatoes have flowers on them, and I succeeded in buying new sneakers for a nine year old girl with only a little crying (yes it was her not me that cried, but it was a toss up!

wow
the chickens ducks and geese are fed and watered...the duck and goose pools are clean...12 eggs today...3 broodies on eggs...dogs fed...groceries bought and stored...rain...beautiful rain to fix the crunchy grass thing...got a book or a movie and a bag of M&Ms...life is good...

I woke up late and had to rush off to work without having my morning coffee...
I made it through a 4 1/2 hour shift without killing anyone.

That is a large victory!

This week I:

-Finished the mini silkie coop to move the babies out and separate out my broody
-Major seasonal cleaning of my backyard
-scrubbed the house down today (aaaah, cleanliness feels so good). It had gone to pot because of my push to finish the coop
-family bonding: went to see "Flight of the Conchords" in Portland.

Tomorrow I get to garden all day while listening to podcasts, Yay! I'll be getting my veggie starts in.
