Smallest 1 Month Old?

Here is a picture of one of my many new chicks imported this year. The two birds shown in the picture are both bantam chicks with the same size potentials. If that little Sebright bantam ain't the smallest chick on earth, then I'll be a Whooshing Crane.

The sebright looks like it's only about two weeks (give or take)...

I hatched sebrights this year, I just don't see how yours could be more than 2.5 weeks old, he's barely feathering at all. Cute chicks by the way

I had them all shipped in as chicks from Ontario just about a month ago

Huh, does he have any issues, like constipated or pasty butt? There's gotta be a reason he's so behind. Although he could just be a runt... I had a Braman this year that is half the size of the others his age. (I don't think he's ever going to get bigger.)

No, he wasn't eating for a while. But he does now.

Meet Tiny.

S/he's two weeks old today. Hatched from a Serama egg that was about half the size of the rest, and s/he's about half the size of the other two that hatched. As of today, Tiny is 29 grams. Its siblings are 46 grams and 49 grams respectively. Tiny ran out of room to move in its egg, and required assistance to hatch.

Wow! That is going to definitely be a small chicken. The Serama bantam is already the smallest breed of chicken in the world!
