Smallest Breed

  1. Other than the Malaysian Serama, what is the smallest breed recognized by the APA standard?

    Hmmm...maybe dutch? I know Matt NC has some that I thought were wild birds running around the ground! hehe Granted they were babies, but even the adults are wittle bitty.


    According to this site

    "THE DUTCH BANTAM IS A TRUE BANTAM, AND THE SMALLEST BREED ACCEPTED BY THE APA,"

    Not sure where he got that info from, though.

    Serama is the smallest breed, the Dutch bantam is the second smallest according to the Standard.[​IMG]

    Dutch are the second smallest breed. But the smallest recognized breed.
