Snake!!Look what I found. I was wondering what was gettitting my eggs

It was not killed but has a nice home several miles away The sad thing, it got two eggs my brrody just started sitting on. At least it did not get the turkey and pure white Guinee egg.

Don't know where OP is, but that's a yellow rat snake. I have a 6 footer who get a couple eggs daily.

They are good snakes to have around- they eat rats, mice, roaches, etc. and are non-venomous.

This is one of the smaller ones, as you can see it doesn't bother my bantam Cochin, Goldie!

Around here they are called Corn snakes (I don't know if that is just a local name or the real name) but there are alot of them.

Ah ok, so the corn snake is a local name.

They are great mouser's.

Ah the heck with that!! I would be getting a cat for a mouser!!

Wow... we have garter snacks and they scare the crap out of me.
